TrackScope Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 August 2026

TrackScope does not collect any data about you.

Your audio stays where you put it. When you import a track, TrackScope saves a reference to the file you chose, not a copy of it. The audio is read from its original location when it is analysed or played, and it is never uploaded.

The analysis happens on your device. TrackScope uses Apple’s Music Understanding, which runs on your iPhone. Neither your audio nor its analysis leaves the device.

The results of your analyses and the track details that come with them are saved in TrackScope’s own storage on your device. They are not synchronised to iCloud or to any server. Deleting the app deletes them.

There is no account. TrackScope does not ask you to register, does not identify you, and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.

If you buy TrackScope Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. TrackScope never sees your payment details; it only asks the App Store whether the purchase is active.

TrackScope writes technical messages to the device’s system log to help diagnose problems. They are fixed texts about what the app did and never include file names, track titles or audio.
